UCLH's Endometriosis Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our innovative and supportive team.
About the Role:As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the patient care journey for individuals living with endometriosis - a condition requiring expert, long-term management and holistic support. Working autonomously but supported by an experienced CNS team and consultants, you will provide specialist nursing advice and emotional support to patients and their families, both in-patient and outpatient, throughout their care pathway.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:o Deliver specialist nursing care and advice to patients with complex needs.o Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team within UCLH and community services to ensure coordinated, seamless care.o Contribute actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient management and service improvements.o Provide leadership, education, and clinical expertise to uphold excellence in patient services.o Support patients from diagnosis onwards, empowering them with information and tailored support.o Maintain a weekday, daytime service ensuring consistent availability for patients and staff.
