Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Job summary
Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a 12 month fixed term post designed to support both the Obstetric and Gynaecology services provided by the department. The successful candidate will join a team of 14 Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologists based at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.
Applicants must have full registration with the GMC including a License to Practice.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be based at Leighton Hospital, Crewe in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, within the Women's and Children's Division. The role may involve working at other Trust sites such as the Victoria Infirmary in Northwich where some Gynaecology outpatient clinics are delivered.
The on-call commitment to the non-resident consultant on-call rota is 1:12. The post will also involve Consultant of the Week responsibility on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on a 1:12 basis.
