Job summary

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is our 'front door' to children's social care and receives all safeguarding referrals for children in Oxfordshire. With the help of our partner agencies, we quickly identify risks to vulnerable children and provide a safe and timely response to decide the most effective interventions.

Main duties of the job

Our aim is to identify risks to vulnerable children, at the earliest possible stage, and to provide a safe and speedy triage to determine the most effective interventions so that children, young people, and their families can thrive. Working alongside colleagues in Children's Social Care, Emergency Duty Team, Thames Valley Police, Oxford Health and Oxford University Hospitals, Education, Probation, Fire and Rescue, South Central Ambulance Service, Youth Justice and Oxford City Council, you will have the wrap around support thats essential for you to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families in a fast paced and positively rewarding role.

  • Be responsible for newly referred cases until they are closed/sign posted to the relevant service.
