We are looking for talented QIS (Qualified in Specialty) Neonatal Nurses, Nurses currently on the QIS pathway who are looking at transferring, or Band 5 Nurses waiting for the opportunity to begin their QIS journey to join our team.
Working within our two neonatal units, including at the CQC 'Outstanding' rated Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital Maternity Service, our neonatal team care for nearly 1000 babies each year. We want every member of our nursing team to grow and develop every day. With a team of specialist education nurses, regular simulations and hands on training, and access to university and resus council accredited courses.

Main duties of the job
- To promote Integrated family delivered care within Neonatal services.
- To reduce risk and maintain patient and staff safety; take lead in investigating clinical incidents and identify ways to improve practice.
- To effectively communicate with family/carers, the multidisciplinary team and agencies outside the organisation.
- To supervise, support and assess learning/development of junior staff, pre-registration nursing and midwifery students, nursing associates and nursery nurses.
- To participate in research on the clinical floor.
